Repo Readiness Checklist

Score one repository before giving Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI write or tool access.

This free engineering checklist helps an individual DevOps, platform or cloud engineer inspect five boundaries in about 15 minutes: repository instructions, executable acceptance, secret isolation, tool and MCP permissions, and independent CI with human production approval.

The checklist is not a security certification and an ignore file is not a secret boundary. Keep production credentials outside the agent workspace, verify effective permissions, run independent tests and retain human ownership of consequential actions.
